These prestigious awards provide substantial, multi-year support: DoctoralAwards: CAD 40,000 per year for up to 3 years PostdoctoralAwards: CAD 70,000 per year for up to 2 years iHADLab (www.ihadlab.com)invites and supports highly motivated candidates at PhD and Postdoc levels, inpreparing their applications at the University of Calgary. The research areashould be in Advanced digital technologies in health solutions, including – – AI models – Data-driven diagnostic – Wearable technologies Qualifications: This is a prestigious and highly competitive scholarship. It is expected that you have several publications in your field of research and a GPA of above 3.9/4.0. If accepted, you should be a PhD graduate before starting your PDF position. 2025-03-04: Peyman Tahghighi Defended his PhD Thesis
Congratulations to Dr. Peyman Tahghighi for successfully defending his PhD thesis on March 04, 2025. Peyman was part of the first hiring cohort in 2021 and my second PhD student under direct supervision. He made significant achievements during his PhD program, from winning several awards, publishing 6 journal papers, and presenting at 6 conferences (including MICCAI 2024). He continued his career in Circle Cardiovascular Imaging right after his graduation. I wish him the best in his career and personal life.
